 Access Number

Dial your Access Number, listen to one ring and hang up. Do not let ring more than three (3) times. The system will call you back in a few seconds and you will hear: "Welcome to GlobalTel, please enter the phone number to call followed by the pound(#) key." You now have a line to make all calls as if you were calling from the US at our low international rates.

Web Trigger

This is a way of triggering a callback via the internet with your computer. This system enables customers to make calls in countries where the local PTT is blocking Callback. We have a web page where you can go and enter the phone number you wish to call. If you share the same phone line that you talk on with your computer modem you can specify a time delay for your callback so you can disconnect from the internet.

Web Trigger with Phonebook

This system has the same functionality as the web trigger. But we provide our customers a personal web phone book, from where they can trigger a callback.

IP Node

Our customer sends their Access Number to our IP Node to get a callback, which enables customers to make calls in countries where the local PTT is blocking Callback.

E-mail

This system allows customers to trigger a callback in countries where the local PTT is blocking Callback or their domains are being blocked by their ISP to use internet to trigger a callback.

To trigger a callback, customers must send a new e-mail message in the following formats:

To:call@globaltel.com

Subject:Access Number

e.g. 1234567(7 digits access number assigned by Globaltel)

If customer wants to connect directly to destination number then e-mail message must be in the following formats:

To:call@globaltel.com

Subject:Access Number#Phone Number

e.g. 1234567#15619999116

SMS

This system allows customers to trigger a callback in countries where the local PTT is blocking Callback or their domains are being blocked by their ISP to use internet to trigger a callback.

To trigger a callback, customers must send an SMS text message in the following formats:

E-mail:call@globaltel.com

SMS Message:Access Number#

e.g. 1234567#(7 digits Access number assigned by Globaltel)

If customer wants to connect directly to destination number then the SMS message must be in the following formats:

E-mail:call@globaltel.com

SMS Message:Access Number#Phone Number#

e.g. 1234567#15619999116#

Yap Jack - Use The Yap Phone to Place International Calls From Abroad

Using Yap Jack, dial-up internet users can trigger a callback using a standard phone and that too without a PC.

You do need an ISP account, through which you contact the GlobalWalkieTalkie callback system in the USA. It works like this; your plug your Yap Jack into your phone line, you then plug a regular touch tone telephone into your Yap Jack, you pick up the telephone and press a button on the Yap Jack. A voice prompt tells you to enter the number one (1) on your telephone. Then the voice prompt instructs you to enter the area code and the number you are calling. When you have entered the telephone number you enter the pound sign (#)-The voice prompt then instructs you to hang up the telephone. A few moments later your telephone rings, you pick up your telephone and a voice prompt tells you how much money you have in your account and then connects you with the number you have dialed.

ISDN PRI
