The cost of appeals is very expensive, and for most people, cost prohibitive in most cases. Thus, due to high legal costs, Appeals are generally unavailable to the general public and most people have to live with the corrupt decision of the judge. As stated below, it takes about 120 - 200 hours to complete an appeal.

Note: Al McZeal will NOT work on any appeals unless paid in advance and your account is current.  If your account is not current then you will need to order and pay for your appeal in advance. The appellate software module is a seperate and distinct assignment from your normal agreement.

Appeals require many hours of work and legal reseach, and brief writing.  About 8120-200 hours is needed on a small appeal.

An appeal can range anywhere from several thousands of dollars (e.g. $20,000 to $150,000) or more depending on the issues.  So if you don't have to money to appeal, chances are you will not be filing an appellate brief.
